She also has an innate ability to read her client’s interior decorating needs, likes & dislikes. Guiding her clients in the decorative direction they are looking for.

Genevieve can visualise interior decorating & design ideas before they are implemented and can therefore give the client the confidence their choices made are the right ones and it will look sensational when finished or installed. “Often people struggle with the skill of visualisation”.

Genevieve has been working in the Interior Design & Decoration industry for over twenty years. She began her decorating career working for Stockwell & Oxford, a renowned interior design firm in Melbourne, after moving to the country in the Western District of Victoria, Genevieve Buchanan Interiors was established in 2004.

She genuinely loves her job and enjoys bringing happiness to her clients through sharing her knowledge and her extensive list of suppliers, enabling the client to have the latest colour schemes, soft furnishings, furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories in their home.

Her extensive portfolio of projects covers historic country homes of the Western District of Victoria, coastal homes along the west coast of Victoria and contemporary homes in Geelong and Melbourne, showcasing how cleverly she is able to merge different styles and eras.
